Andy P, Resident Studio Artist, started his career in tattooing at The Tattoo Gallery early 2002 and finished his Apprenticeship with Tribal Mike on a positive when he was awarded the Frank Thompson Memorial Award for "Up and Coming Tattoo Artist" at the National PTAA Tattoo Convention held in Adelaide back in May 2005.
Andy is quiet, some may say even a dark horse and probably doesn’t fit the tattooer stereotype. If you clocked Andy in a bar you might think he was a Uni grad or someone with an occupation of a tertiary nature. Andy’s tattoo work is both in monochrome and colour, with a preference for Bio-mech/organic, Japanese tradditional, script, Religious icons, comic strip characters, old school and ‘low brow’ street art.
