Tattoo of the Month - February 2008
Katherine had been checking out tattoos for a while and knew she wanted something substantial for her first.
Katherine called into The Tattoo Gallery back in late 2007 and decided upon a Japanese Koi fish: the Koi [or Carp] is a Japanese icon for courage and perseverance, which suited Katherine down to the ground as she wanted to choose a tattoo that was symbolic of growth and strength through daily life.
Tribal Mike says that Katherine was a great sitter and a worthy wearer of this ancient Japanese symbol, as after only two sessions, Katherine's beautiful koi fish is complete.
